New York Loft Party is a DJ and House / Techno producer, he came from traditional roots learning to mix by ear with vinyl before moving on to CD and then Digital formats.
He has held residencies for major brands and clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Hed Kandi, Pacha, Digital, Honeyclub, Royal Caribbean and Born to Dance Records to name a few, clocking 1000s of hours performing in clubs, bars and events to a variety of ages and nationalities all over the globe to as many as 3000 people, this has included playing alongside many of the biggest names in the electronic music industry.
This has included gigs at Glastonbury and Ultra festival and in destinations such as Ibiza, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, USA and the Caribbean, including 2 years DJing full time on 3 of the biggest cruise ships in the world. Currentlt he is based in Ibiza.
As a producer, NYLP writes, engineers and produces all his own music and his productions have appeared on multiple DJ charts. His signed collaboration with Space Ibiza legend Jonathan Ulysses on a track called ‘Dark Side’ saw the pair interviewed for Iconic Magazine and supported by many major players in the underground scene. NYLP’s remix of Sam Hudson’s “NightShift” was top featured by Beatport and went to number 1 in ‘TrackItDown and his hit ‘Envy’ went to Top 5 in Trackitdown and Traxsource as well as charting on Beatport.
Roben, the man behind the NYLP guise, is a qualified Music Sound Engineer by Access To Music (Brighton, UK) in Advanced Digital Music Level 3 with a Distinction level, as well as having been trained by the BBC in Radio Production.
